Dr. Rachel Callens

Dr. Callens received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (SCNM) in Tempe; AZ. SCNM is a fully accredited medical school that integrates both naturopathic and conventional medical approaches to healing.

 

Upon graduation Dr. Callens has worked in private practice for many years in Washington DC. Dr. Callens choose Washington DC immediately after graduation to practice so she could not only be an advocate for her patients in practice, but to also be apart of an integrative healthcare movement with other physicians dedicated to healing the whole person.

 

Dr. Callens has focused on Weight loss, Hormone management, Infertility, Hypertension, Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, and much more.  She has completed extensive research to continue her mission to provide a preventative integrative medical approach to patient care.

 

She is a general family practitioner specializing in naturopathic medicine.  She utilizes a wide array of natural modalities including integrative approaches to tailor her patients individualized treatment plans. She is a fierce advocate for integrative heath and believes in empowering patients to engage in preventative self-care.

 

Dr. Callens has prevalent training in Women’s Health/Weight Loss and has worked closely with some of the leading women’s medical experts. Dr. Callens is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
